Get Away, Get Outside, Get Cozy … Just Get to Fallen Tree

It’s autumn at Fallen Tree! It’s no secret that this is my favorite time of year. I love the quiet of winter, the rebirth of the land in spring and lazy summer days (although rarely time to be lazy here in the summer!). However, there is just something extra special about the autumn season here at Fallen Tree Bed and Breakfast. I love the blazing colors of the trees, the warm sunny days for galloping my horses in the fields, the chilly nights for lighting a fire, digging out familiar comfy sweaters from my trunks and the exhilarating knowledge that not every day has to be spent pulling weeds in the gardens. It’s a time for snuggling up with a cup of coffee and a good book on a lazy Sunday afternoon or baking with my girls. If you feel the same way about Autumn that I do we’d love to have you visit us!

Bring your favorite sweaters, your walking shoes, your favorite books (or borrow some of ours). We’ll provide the snuggly corners, comfy beds for sleeping in, blazing fireplaces, unlimited cups of coffee, gorgeous fall color and woods to tramp through. If you want to get outside, there are numerous places to hike in the area, loads of antiquing opportunities, bookstores and art galleries and fabulous places to eat before you come back to the farm for more snuggling time. Below are a few links to try a few of my favorite spots, all within 10 minutes of the farm. Plan a couple of days full of activities or absolutely nothing at all.
